OA Banquet Sign Ups Close Feb 19th

Friday-Saturday, 2/3-2/4, we will compete in the Council First Aid Meet where Troops from all around the area will demonstrate their first aid skills and know-how.

Spring Merit Badge Jamboree Open for Registration

The Spring Merit Badge Jamboree will be held on Tuesday February 21, Tuesday March 14 and Tuesday April 18 form 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm at Camp Jarvis. If a session needs to be cancelled due to snow, the make up snow date will Tuesday May 16. Five merit badges will be offered - Personal Management, Communication, Cooking, Mammal Study and Pets&Scholarship. Each class is limited to 10 scouts except for Personal Mgmt which is limited to 8. Sign up by contacting Mr. Tobias directly.

Winter COH Open for Registration

New BSA Requirements Now Apply to All Scouts

Last year (2016), the Boy Scouts of America changed the requirements for virtually all ranks in Scouting. In 2016, any Scout who joined Troop prior to 2015 had until 12/31/2016 to complete a rank advancement under the prior requirements. All Scouts who joined the Troop last year could only use the new BSA requirements. Effective January 1, 2017, all Scouts are now held accountable to the new BSA requirements.

Wilderness First Aid Training

Wilderness First Aid Training is a required training course for High Adventure trips. It is offered as either a weekend course or a 4-week course (note: you MUST attend all 4 consecutive weeks of the course in the same session if you choose this option).
