Welcome to 2010 -- Here are some highlights of what is new in scouting for 2010

New rank requirement changes for 2010, including...
Two new leadership positions for 2010: Leave No Trace Trainer and Scout Webmaster
All scouts need to know the EDGE (explain, demonstrate, guide, and enable) training model

Private Resource Center -- is now available. Devon 50 Parents and Scouts can now register to this private site. You should have already received an email with instructions. If you have not received an invitation, please contact your webmaster (web@devon50.org). The Handbook has gone online! Scouts and Parents use the handbook to learn the most about Devon 50's scouting program. September-2009

Calendar -- Thanks to Google, our calendar has a new look. If you already use Google's calendar you can view Devon 50's events along with your own Google calendar events. Sign-up for this by clicking here: Go to online request form. Note: this option is by request only. September-2009

Scout Driven Technology--Scouts were surveyed in order to gain insight into how technology at Devon 50 could be improved. The results were clear. It is all about communication! Targeted emails; online handbook; new method of communication (Facebook and text messaging); and many more good ideas. Updates are continuing to be rolled out... Stay tuned. June-2009
