Scouter Meetings and other adult meetings::
Troop Leader Meetings:
Devon 50 conducts regular and ad-hoc meetings for its adult leaders
Troop Committee Meeting:
Camp Jarvis 7:30 pm
3rd Wednesday of the month
All Devon 50 parents are members of the Troop Committee, and are encouraged to attend. The Troop Committee makes decisions about the Camp Jarvis Facility and the administrative and financial aspects of Devon 50, and discusses past and future events
Scoutmaster Staff Meeting:
Camp Jarvis 7:30 pm
..called by SM or other adult
As required, the Devon 50 Scoutmaster Staff meet to discuss Troop objectives and high level plans, as well as specific assignments and plans for the upcoming months. 
District Meetings:
The Diamond Rock District conducts monthly and ad-hoc meetings for the adult leaders in its district
District Roundtable:
7:30 pm 
2nd Thursday of the month
Meeting for District leaders, scout leaders and cub leaders in the Diamond Rock Districts. The meeting covers news and updates, presentations and discussions on current topics, and offers an excellent opportunity to meet other leaders with common issues.
Adult Training opportunities:
Troop Training:
Devon 50 will organize basic training for adult leaders on demand. This is typically done via training videos, which include such things as:
Youth Protection ..Scouting is a safe haven! Devon 50 expects all parents to take this important course.  This is also available on line from the Chester County Council Site, http://www.cccbsa.org/training/index.htm
District and Council Training:
Chester County Council or one of the Districts regularly provide several classes and courses for Adult leaders - please check the council site for the current training schedule:

New Leader Essentials Fundamentals Come learn more about Scouting and your role as a volunteer Scouter. Designed to develop fundamental skills to perform your chosen position, in eithter the committee and/or ASM Staff;
Scoutmaster Specifics The second phase of scoutmaster training; 1 one-day course designed to prepare scouters who want to participate on the ASM staff
Introduction to Outdoor Skills The third phase of scoutmaster training - a fun 2-night campout where the scouters become scouts and learn the skills necessary to lead scouts in to the wild.
Troop Committee Specifics For those scouters interested in participating as active committee members.  The second (and final) phase of committee training
Woodbadge BSA's most advanced adult course - a demanding and rewarding experience
Safety Afloat and
Safe Swim Defense
Required training to lead water-based trips; the more adults who get this the more flexible we will be in scheduling!
