Hello there, and welcome to our website!
Feel free to
browse around, you should be able to get a good sense of who and what we
are.
Check out our upcoming events and the pictures and reports from some of our trips.
Take a look at our Troop Handbook, with items like our troop organization,
our goals and expectations, our dues and expenses, and a description of
what a new scout needs.
We issue our
full
calendar in September, with all the planned events for the next
12 months, with a "fact Sheet"
for each event.
We have about
80
scouts in our troop, and we have a very busy schedule.
We feel very strongly about scouting, and would like your son to
experience its fun and challenges. If he is between 11 and
18 years old (101/2 if
he has the Arrow of Light), and has completed 5th grade, he's ready...
If your son would
like to join our troop, that's great. He will be welcomed into a fun bunch
of boys. However, the important thing is that he joins a troop where he
feels at home, and settles in for years of enjoyment for the whole family,
so we will be happy to refer you to other troops in the area if that's
appropriate.
