Evan Benjamin Pioch – #285

Evan Benjamin Pioch was born in Pittsburgh on October 10th, 1991.  He moved to the area when he was one.

Evan started out as a Tiger Cub in Pack 112 at Hillside Elementary.  He fondly remembers selling popcorn and the Pinewood Derby, in which he won the best paint job as a tiger scout.  After getting his Arrow of Light Evan bridged to Devon 50 in 5th grade.

Evan's best memories of Devon 50 include the rafting trip the day after a hurricane, going on several summer trips including the National Jamboree, spending 10 days in the White Mountains and Maine, hiking for 2 weeks at Philmont, and the numerous fall backpacking trips.

In 2004 Evan was awarded the Overall Troop Wreath Salesman award and the Future Leader award in 2005.

For his Eagle Project Evan worked in the Open Land Conservancy, clearing out 3 historically-relevant house foundation ruins and building a ½ mile loop trail to access those foundations.

Evan is going to be a Senior at Conestoga High School next year where he will be the Photo Editor of the school newspaper, the Spoke, and the head of the TV Club.

Evan wants to go to college to major in communications and to work in sports broadcasting.

Evan would like to thank everyone who helped him on his Eagle Project, especially his dad who put in countless hours.
