Trevor R. Leckie - #235
Trevor R. Leckie was born on March 5, 1983 in Morristown, New Jersey. He has resided with his parents, Mark and Rosemary, and sisters, Meghan and Kendra, in Malvern, PA for 2 years.
His family moved to Toronto, Ontario, Canada, in 1989, where Trevor took part in the scouting program known as "Beavers." Upon returning to the USA in 1991, Trevor joined Cub Scout Pack 92 while attending Sarah Adams Elementary School in Lake Zurich, Illinois. Trevor earned his God and Me Religious Award through St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Barrington, IL in 1992. After moving to Ridgefield, Connecticut in 1993, Trevor earned every Webelos pin and completed his Arrow of Light. He crossed over to Troop 116 in 1994. Also in 1994, Trevor earned the God and Church Religious Award through St. Stephen's Episcopal Church. He transferred to Troop 76 in 1995 in order to enjoy scouting more fully. While in Troop 76, Trevor earned his "Year Round Camper Award", was the Buffalo Patrol Leader, and co-wrote the program to introduce new scouts to the World of Scouting. Following the publication of the program, Trevor was made a "New Boy Patrol Leader". In 1997, Trevor participated in the National Boy Scout Jamboree at Fort A.P. Hill, Virginia. He then moved to Pennsylvania and joined Troop Devon 50.
In his quest for Eagle, Trevor spent Eagle Week at Camp Yawgoog in Rhode Island in the summer of 1998. As a member of Troop Devon 50, Trevor is currently the Eagle Patrol Leader, a member of the Order of the Arrow, earned his membership in the $1,000 club for wreath sales in his rookie year, and is past editor of Pelican Feathers. Last July, Trevor traveled to the Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico.
Trevor is a junior at Conestoga High School. He is a member of the Marching Band, Symphonic Band, Jazz Band, and Pep Band. He is also part of the Comedy Sports Team at CHS where he enjoys a good laugh. For the past year, Trevor has been employed by Human Resources Alternatives, Berwyn. Trevor is a member of Saint David's Episcopal Church, Radnor, where he serves as an acolyte, participates in the Youth Group, and accompanies church services for younger children on the piano. An accomplished pianist, Trevor has earned high ratings at many festivals. He plans on attending a music school to further embellish his musical talents.
