Vicken Bazarbashian was born on July 1st, 1981 in Philadelphia, Pa. He lives in Paoli, Pa. where he has lived his whole life, with his mother, father and older brother. He began his educational career at Armenian Sisters Academy at the age of 2 until fifth grade. He then attended Valley Forge Middle School for three years from grades 6th to 8th, where he was an honor roll student. Following Valley Forge, Vicken attended Conestoga High School, where he has maintained his honor roll status.

Vicken joined Devon 50 in the fall of 1994, with the encouragement of a few friends who were already scouts in the troop at the time. His first year was by far the most exciting as he joined the Wolf Patrol and became very involved.

In 1996 he became Patrol Leader of the Wolf Patrol. During the 1996-97 scouting year, he led the Wolves to accomplishments such as receiving the E.J. Purdy Award and becoming the Top Patrol in Wreath Sales. Several of Vicken's other awards in Boy Scouting include the $1000 Dollar Club for Wreath Sales in 1997, the J.B. Rettew Advancement Award in 1996 and the Standard Patrol Award in 1996. He also attended the Chester County Council Junior Leadership Training session in the spring of 1997.

Vicken is currently a senior at Conestoga and will be attending Villanova University in the fall. He wishes to pursue the field of business administration. Several of his goals in life include having a family and being successful in his career and personal life. In his spare time, he loves to listen to classic rock, play the piano, spend time outdoors and spend time with his friends and family.
