Upon entering Devon 50 Zack joined the Wolf Patrol where he earned his Tenderfoot, Second Class, First Class, Star, and Life ranks. He served as Patrol Leader for one year then moved to Troop Staff where he served the troop as Troop Scribe and as an Instructor.

Zack truly enjoys the outdoors. He joined the troop at Camp Horseshoe for five summers, attended the High Adventure trip to Cedarlands Camp in the Adirondacks, worked on the staff at Camp Horseshoe and attended many troop events. During this time he earned 29 merit badges. He is an Ordeal member of the Order of the Arrow. He is very interested in communications and spends his spare time at the TE TV News Studio at Conestoga, where he is a Technical Director and Editor. Last summer he interned at Harron Cable. Zack is currently looking at colleges that offer strong Schools of Communication and Business.

Zack is a member of St. David’s Church in Radnor, where he serves as an acolyte and has participated in the annual Christmas pageant. He also enjoys skiing and anything computer-related, and works part-time at Genuardi’s Supermarket. The St. David’s Arboretum was the location of Zack’s Eagle Project. Zack and his helpers widened, weeded and mulched existing paths, bordered them with fence posts, then dug out 150 feet of new path.

Many Scouting volunteers at Devon 50 and Chester County Council are responsible for helping Zack to achieve the rank of Eagle Scout. Thanks to all of you!!!
