Andrew Milligan III

Andrew Milligan III 's Eagle project consisted of helping Easttown Library double the size of their Fiction Room. One weekend last August, Andrew and a team of scouts boxed and removed 8000 books from the Fiction Room, and dismantled the shelves there. After contractors removed a wall, painted and laid new carpet, Andrew and his crew returned the next weekend to install the original steel modular shelving along with the new shelving required for the increased capacity of the room. Finally, the 8000 books plus large type books from another section of the library had to be moved in and apportioned for aesthetic considerations and growth of the collection.

Andrew began scouting with Pack 144 in Toledo, Ohio. In Knoxville, Tennesee he moved through Webelos and into Scout Troop 22. He joined Devon 50 soon after his family moved back into the Philadelphia area at Berwyn. He is an Order of the Arrow member, has travelled to England for the International Scout Jamboree with the troop and is curently on staff as Historian/Librarian.

Andrew is the son of Andrew and Fran Milligan. A junior at St. Joseph's Prep, Andrew is in his third season on the crew team. He is interested in pursuing a career in either marine biology or classics and archaeology.

Milligan family guests present to honor Andrew and his parents were: Albert, grandfather; Mark and Sharon, aunt and uncle; and Kelly, Lauren and Devon, Andrew's sisters.
